Georgia, settled between two gigantic forces, would hardly catch the eye of a traveler who just decided to check the map and choose a new destination to explore. It lays at the eastern end of the Black Sea, with Turkey and Armenia to the South, Azerbaijan to the East, and Russia to the North, over the Caucasus Mountains.
